Celebrating International Women's Day 2025

This International Women’s Day, we sat down the GAIA Skincare founder, Diane Nettleton, to talk key learnings of running a business, how to keep motivated, and the theme of this year, 'accelerate action'.

"Just to remind you that action doesn’t always mean huge strides. Sometimes, it’s the small, consistent steps that make the biggest difference. Whether it’s showing up, staying positive, or pushing past fears, every action counts." Comments Diane

As a female founder, she's learned some key lessons that have shaped how she leads GAIA and navigates life; hoping these can resonate with you, whether you’re in business or simply navigating your own journey of life...

1. Keep Going: Success doesn’t come overnight. It’s about showing up every day, even when it feels tough. Keep pushing forward—consistency is key.

2. Stay Focused: Remain steadfast in your path, un-distracted by external noise. Stay grounded, approach challenges with a sense of humour, and navigate both highs and lows with grace. Adaptability is your greatest strength.

3. Believe in Yourself: Self-doubt happens, but believing in your abilities and hard work is essential. Trust in yourself and your vision.

4. Action Overcomes Fear: Fear is natural, but action is the antidote. The more you act, the more confident you become.

5. Lift Each Other Up: The power of women supporting women is incredible. At GAIA, we empower each other every day, and that strength is what drives us forward.

This IWD, let’s continue taking those small actions to create lasting change. Whether you're building a business or focusing on personal growth, every step counts. Thank you for being part of GAIA and supporting women everywhere.
