There is a real joy in going back to basics, enjoying nature, and removing any distractions. Research shows that spending two hours or more outside every week can improve our health and wellbeing and we have to agree, there is nothing quite like a walk in a park, through woods, by the sea or in the green spaces within our inner cities to clear your mind and lift your spirits.
As a regular form of exercise, walking has to be one of our top three ways to get fit and feel fantastic but is often overlooked as a form of exercise, walking can often be as good if not better than running. The best bit you can walk anywhere, anytime.
Walking has lots of benefits for both body and mind. Regular walking has been shown to improve our mental health as it often lifts our mood, eases anxiety, and makes us feel energised. It also gives us the opportunity to connect with nature and be present in the moment it allows us time to pause for thought and reflect.
The same goes for our skincare, by prioritising natural and organic products and stripping away chemicals not only are you safeguarding the environment, but you are also nourishing and cleansing your skin.
Here are some of our favourite ingredients
Mandarin
Mandarin and tangerine share a botanical name as the oil is extracted from the peel, which is common to both. It has antiseptic and antispasmodic properties and improves the circulation of blood and lymph glands to rejuvenate the skin. It assists with maintaining a healthy moisture balance while helping to repair scarring.
