Grounding Meditation

    1. Find yourself a space you feel relaxed in, and light a GAIA candle to awaken your senses.
    2. Take a deep breath in and out, to centre your mind.
    3. Feel your breaths deepen, allowing your chest to expand as you breath in and feeling your body relax as you breath out.
    4. Continue your deep breaths, feeling more and more relaxed each time you exhale.
    5. Your body is calm, safe, and relaxed.
    6. Picture yourself seated comfortably surrounded by a calm woodland or forest.
    7. Picture the vibrant green varieties of the different leaves in the forest, beneath you is a simple wooden floor.
    8. A gentle rain begins to fall in the trees around you, as the rain gets heavier you feel calmer.
    9. The rain washes away any stress or tension you may feel, filtering all the negative thoughts down into the rainforest floor and out of sight.
    10. The rain continues to cleanse you, leaving you calm, relaxed and at ease.
    11. Intensify the greens and colours of the forest, as you breath in and back out.
    12. The rain eases getting lighter, you feel comfortable and lighter, free from worries.
    13. Gently bring your focus back to your breathing.
    14. Allow your mind to float gently back into the room, becoming aware of your surroundings.
